I love this pattern, can’t wait to make it!
Loved the patterns. Already made 10 of the largest design so well on my way to using some scraps which was why I bought the pattern. Excellent service, easy to download.
This isn't a FPP pattern. There should be separate pieces with space enough between them for seam allowances and reasonable extra space, with the order of use of the pieces designated . This is just line drawings of the assembled block in different scales.
I was so pleased to find 4 patterns I just had to have and they were PDF’s where I’d have them immediately! There was only one problem, I couldn’t find them once I had downloaded them! I contacted Jo and she was extremely helpful in not only going home after work and resending them but she suggested where they might be! Because of her help I did locate the PDF’s and now have them ready to make. Thank you Jo for your patience and helpfulness. I look forward to purchasing more patterns.
Foundation paper piecing (FPP) is a quilting technique where fabric is sewn directly onto a printed paper template. This allows you to achieve very precise seams and shapes that are difficult to piece with traditional methods.
The patterns are designed for advanced beginners and up. If you know the basics of foundation paper piecing, you’ll find them straightforward. Each pattern avoids tricky y-seams and has simplified sections wherever possible.
General tips on foundation paper piecing and order of assembling the sections are included but the maker is assumed to know how to foundation paper piece. Fabric requirements and cutting instructions are not included.
These blocks are versatile and can be used in quilts, table runners, tote bags, pouches, mug rugs, pincushions, and many other small projects. They’re a great way to add a unique touch to your sewing.
Each pattern comes with multiple block sizes, giving you flexibility depending on your project. The block sizes included are listed in the product images and product description.
Read this page about how to resize foundation paper piecing templates.
Yes, every template includes a quarter-inch seam allowance, ready for you to sew without extra adjustments.
You’ll receive a digital PDF file that can be printed on your home printer. Be sure to print at “100%” or “actual size” and use the one-inch test square to check for accuracy.
All the patterns have been fully tested to print to scale. If you have printed at 100% or 'Actual Size' and the one inch test box is still not the correct size, the problem is most likely the printer driver. I have found from experience that if the printer does the not have it's own printer driver installed on the computer, it may not print to size. For example, the default Windows print driver is installed but your printer is a Brother machine. In this case, you need to install the Brother print driver. You will have to Google how to do that for your specific printer.
It is possible to print from a phone however there are often limitations when it comes to checking for scaling. Some phones may 'auto fit' and your pattern may not print to the correct size.
No. These are digital PDF downloads only, so you can start sewing right after purchase.
